Gutter Installation | Gutter Replacement

Gutter Installation

Is a decent guttering job too much to ask for? We don't think so. Our tried-and-true process has been dwindled down to a science. After your gutters are bent and crimped and shaped into a water shedding machine, the gutter is then attached to the fascia all around the edge of the house at specific angles to allow for optimum water shedding into your downspouts and ultimately away from the foundation of your home.  Our team of guys are fully equipped with the latest and greatest in gutter installation tools and technology: gutter outlet punches, gutter pliers, saw pipe cutters, downspout crimpers and expanders, notcher tool, drills, and riveters. Did we forget anything?

If your existing gutters are faulty or broken in several or many places or you're wanting new gutters on a new house or roof, we can help with all the above. Our team will show up and get proper measurements and get you a competitive quote on new gutters.

Gutter Replacement

Sometimes a bad storm can damage an existing gutter system, or maybe your gutters are old and starting to cause you water shedding issues. Maybe whoever installed them in the first place didn't do it correctly. When gutters aren't sloped the right way all the way around the roof you can accumulated water and shed water unevenly. Whatever the issues you're having are, we're happy to come take a look and assess the extent of what needs to be done.

Rain Barrel Collection System

Sometimes water shedding can be an issue because a home is built at a lower elevation than the rest of the land around it. Water can pool up in certain areas close to the home and cause structural damage long term. If this is the case with your home and no matter what you do you just can't seem to shed water far enough away from your home, a rain barrel collection system might be just what you need. We'll be happy to help you asses whether or not this is the best choice for your particular situation.

Roof Replacement | Roof Repair

Roof Replacement

There are plenty of reasons a person might need to replace their roof. Most of the time, depending on whether it's asphalt or architectural shingle work, a shingle roofing system lasts about 15-30 years. If you are noticing cracking, discoloration and even leaks here and there, it could be time to replace your old roof. A lot of the times insurance will cover the whole job depending on the type of insurance and the extent of damage, but we work well with insurance companies and can install a new shingle or metal roof on your home in no time.

Roof Repair

Some of the time, all that is required on a roof is some minor repair work. We'll preform a thorough inspection and determine the extent of damage whether it's due to internal mold and water damage or storm damage and maybe a tree fell on your house or something. We'll give you an honest consultation on the health of your entire roofing system to include guttering fascia and soffit, and help you determine the best course of action moving forward.

Storm Damage

Storms in the Carolinas can potentially do a lot of damage. From wind damage blowing off shingles and even metal roofing, to trees falling and more, it can be a nightmare for a homeowner to deal with. Let us determine the nature of the damage to your home and help restore it to it's former glory, shedding water and keeping your business of family dry.

Shingle Roof Installation

Asphalt 3 Tab

Shingles roofs are the most common (89% of all roof installations in the U.S. in 2019), with 3 tab shingles being most cost effective option when deciding what to use for you roof. These can last anywhere from 10-20 years within reason, without significant decay or damage. We offer plenty of color options for this type of shingle and can install 3 tab very efficiently. Although popularity in recent years has declined in favor of architectural shingles, they are still a viable option for Salisbury and Rowan County home-owners.

Asphalt Architectural

Architectural shingles are thicker, last longer than 3 tab and are a bit more expensive. While you can expect 3 tab to last no more than 20-25 years, warranties on an architectural shingle roof can go up to 50 years. When considering a cost effective option that you will get your money's worth over the years, architectural shingle is the way to go.

Metal Roofing Install

Standing Seam

A Standing Seam metal roof, barring everything besides slate and luxury shingles, is the most expensive roofing on the market. These roofs can last up to 100 years and are very visually appealing. These are much more durable than shingles and even more durable than corrugated metal. This would be a great option for a high value home to add more curb appeal and to extend the life of your home. A metal roof can actually lower the energy costs of your household by up to by 40% as well.

Corrugated Metal

While not quite as decadent and durable as a standing seam roof, this is a viable option for someone that would prefer a metal roof to shingles. A lot of people will use this option for barns and outdoor buildings like sheds, it still is a great option for your home and can last up to twice as long as an architectural shingle roofing solution. Something to take into consideration: although a metal roof will cost a lot more than 3 tab and architectural shingles, labor costs should be a bit lower because it take a lot less time to install sheets of metal as opposed to shingles.

Colors

Standing Seam Roofs offer the most options when it comes to color, but corrugated metal is available in most any color you could think of as well. While this may not be the most important factor when determining what roof will best fit your home, it may be to your wife! Just kidding..

Leak Detection | Water Damage Repair

Fascia and Soffit Work

There are plenty of occsasions where water damage can cause more than just damage to your roof. If unchecked and unresolved, persistant water damage can eat away in the fascia and even in the soffit. The fascia of your roof is the vertical piece that hangs down from the edge of your roof that is used to attach the gutter. The osffit is even deeper into the roof, the under side of the roof behind the fascia and is actually part of the house. Sometimes when we tear off a roof, water damage and mold eating away at the structure of the home that many roofers will miss in the inital inspection will be exposed and some contractors will go back and redo the contract to include costs to repair this damage. We make sure to do a thorough enough inspection that if any damage like this is expected, it will be covered within the initial contract where a second redone isn't required.

Thorough Inspection

Not only will our expert roofers get up on top of your roof to inspect for damage and work to be done, we will also get uo into the rafters and attic if necessary to detect the extent of any suspected damage. Some roofing companies in Salisbury will just lazily produce a quote to get your business and come back with a much higher number once your roof has been torn off and you need to act quickly. This leaves you in a bind with limited options, as most roofers are at least a few weeks out with the work they need to get done before they can get to your roof replacement. We make sure to always do a thorough inspection and get you an honest quote before any work is undertaken.

Water Damage

Water damage can be a very tricky thing to deal with. Not to talk bad about anyone, but from our experience repairing and replacing roofing in and around Salisbury, there are many contractors that don't do a satisfactory job on their installations. This can leave cracks or gaps in your roof and if any water is allowed to get in on an ongoing basis it can cause a lot of damage. If you notice any kind of water entering the home or any leakage, please act immediately. It will be a lot less work to deal with now as opposed to years down the road when structural elements are needed to be replaced and worked on before a roof can go on.

Repair

Our team is fully equipped to do any kind of repairs that might be needed. We can repair and replace rotten decking, switch out old or outdated shingles and metal roofing, and we also do vinyl siding and ventilation work as well. While a lot of times if there is repair work that needs to be done, it has been left unchecked for sometime and may need more attention and work than you might expect, our team is ready and willing to take a good look at the problem and get it resolved quickly for you.
